The gaming operator disclosed in January that it would focus on acquiring a Nassau County gaming license. Nassau County lawmakers voted 17-1 in May 2023 giving Las Vegas Sands a 99-year lease to construct a gaming property. But a New York State Supreme Court justice annulled it on Thursday.
